Testimony to improve psychosocial wellbeing and promote advocacy for survivors of torture and organised violence in India

Times of India, Varanasi edition "Therapeutic approach to help torture victims" and "Police role in custodial torture under cloud". It highlight the case of Mr. Ram Lal, who was tortured in the police custody. Mr. Upendra Kumar took his testimony and provide psychological support. The testimony was used in the meta-legal process. The case is under the consideration of NHRC, New Delhi and its also sent a copy to PVCHR for inviting its comment.

PVCHR with RCT provide psychological support to Mr. Salim whose 22 years old Khalik -Uj- Jama died in the police firing on 11 March, 09.
